Ailsa Craig is a craggy island
off the west coast of Ayrshire in Scotland, it is known locally as
"Paddy's milestone". The island is now
uninhabited but on the East side there is an automatic lighthouse
which was manned at one time. It is also famous for the
amount of seabirds who live there.
